Stuart Jessop Secures Licence for Taxi Driver in Appeal Against Revocation
Stuart has recently represented a hackney Carriage Driver in his appeal against the revocation of his licence due to disclosure of a criminal allegation made against him which was never proceeded with because of flaws in the complainant’s evidence.
Despite these flaws and despite the licence being renewed for four years before the decision to revoke, the local authority revoked the licence and still went ahead with resisting the appeal.
Stuart managed to help his client obtain costs against the local authority after helping to have his licence reinstated.
I met Stuart when I was on the opposing side in a recent licensing appeal. Since that time Woods Whur have instructed him in matters, in the most recent of which he won and had costs awarded in our client's favour. I would have no hesitation in recommending him.
