Stuart Jessop Represents Letting Agent in Successful Appeal

December 1, 2016

Stuart recently represented a letting agent in his successful appeal to the Crown Court against a sentence imposed by Thames Magistrates Court.

The Appellant had pleaded guilty to four offences under the Housing Act 2004, concerning licensing in respect of Houses in Multiple Occupation, and sentenced to a total of £22,000. The court reduced the fine to £10,000 and made for defence costs to be paid out of central funds
